Technical Approach

ARTour leverages Unity and AR Foundation for cross-platform development, integrating Google Geospatial API for precise location tracking and historical image alignment. The development process involved extensive historical research, geospatial data mapping, and iterative on-location testing to ensure accurate overlay positioning. Firebase handles user data and content management, while ElevenLabs provides AI-generated voice narration for immersive storytelling experiences.
